From September 16 to 20, KEAD attended the 2026 APEC Disability Employment Forum and the 51st APEC Human Resources Development Working Group(HRDWG) Meeting in Nanjing, China.

At the APEC Disability Employment Forum, participants shared policies and best practices from across the region and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation for the development of human resources for persons with disabilities and the design of technology-driven, disability-inclusive consumer markets. The discussions focused on enhancing the capabilities of persons with disabilities and promoting inclusive employment.

KEAD also exchanged information on disability employment policies and programs with representatives of APEC member economies and international organizations, sharing international trends and policy developments in disability employment and human resources development.

This visit provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen international cooperation networks in disability employment and lay the foundation for expanding international cooperation and ODA projects in the future.
