The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled (KEAD) took part in the 50th APEC HRDWG meeting held in Jeju from May 7 to 10, introducing Korea’s disability employment policies and strengthening ties with APEC member economies.

As coordinator of the APEC subgroup on disability policies, KEAD showcased Korea’s leadership in inclusive employment. On May 6, it also hosted the International Disability Employment Forum with over 200 experts to explore global strategies.

KEAD’s participation drew international attention, with its president emphasizing ongoing efforts to share best practices and expand sustainable employment for people with disabilities.
