The Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities(KEAD) took part in the 50th APEC HRDWG(Human Resources Development Working Group)meeting held in Jeju from May 7 to 10, introducing Korea’s disability employment policies and strengthening ties with APEC member economies.

As a coordinator of the APEC Friends of the Chair on Promoting Disability Policies within Human Resources Development Working Group, KEAD showcased Korea’s leadership in inclusive employment for persons with disabilities. On May 6, it also hosted the International Forum on Disability Employment with over 200 experts to explore global strategies in creating jobs for vulnerable groups.

KEAD’s participation drew international attention, with its president emphasizing ongoing efforts to share best practices and expand sustainable employment for people with disabilities.
